E30 325 sport ratio

I read that the 325 sport gear box is a direct 5th gear rather than an overdrive 5th as per all other models. Can anyone confirm this please?

You're talking about the very rare 323i gearbox, not the more common 325i Sport box:

Ok cheers. Just tried to fit e36 box and few issues so thought be easier to put a sport box in. Currently running a 320 box which is quite good but a bit too long legged with a 4.4 cwp
