Hiya, i've ordered some bosch spark pluge for my M40 318i, my manual suggests the gap is already preset, is that true?
Your help will be appreciated.

I have found, as have others, that the M40 does not like Bosch plugs which is strange since they come from Germany as does the E30! Maybe you will have more luck with these than I have had.

I only use NGKs and find that the plug gap is not too critical. :)

Couldn't agree more; Bosch just aren't 'right' somehow; NGK always. Gap on M42 is preset, not sure about M40 but assume same?
Two headblenders, couple of bags of MC Hammer, 5 litres of FFF, a 48ft bastard, a box of jumped-up custard and some soggy chimps
