Hi all,
I just noticed the other day that my passenger window is acting up...
It goes down to half way and back up no problem. It's a wee bit slower than the drivers side but it's always been so. However, when it gets below halfway it just crawls down and I'm worried that if I let it down fully, it won't have the energy to get back up.
Fine weather is on the way (hopefully) so I'd like to be able to let it down fully without worry....
Any ideas ? Is it just stiff from lack of use and if so, how do I fix it ?
Cheers,
PK

it could be the motor which is on its way out, or try swapping the window switches around. mine did same and i put new switch in and worked fine.

A bit of silicon grease sprayed into the window channels can work wonders.
Worth trying a different switch, as suggested. Passenger door pillar plug and socket could be guilty too.
I have always found genuine factory fitted window motors to be reliable, but the retro fitted ones are rubbish.

Cheers guys,
I'll try the other switch first but 'spray silicon grease' ??? What's that ?
It's a factory fitted jobbie so no worries about cheapo aftermarket crap...
