E30 exhaust query please help

Hi there just checking...

Ive got an e30 320i 6 cylinder convertible

It needs a new back box..it has twin pipes that go from the middle of the car into the back box,and then a twin tail pipe...

Would a 325i sport back box fit this...thanks very much...

The exhaust system will either be a 2 or 3 piece, you need to determine which one it is.

Basically look where it joins together to see how many sections you have.

2 piece = down pipes and middle box in one piece + Tail end

3 Piece = down pipes + Middle box section + Back box

Look at the middle box, which side of it is there a join(s) ?

Just to let you know my car has a 3 piece system...
