hey folks... just a quick query...
can you bolt an induction kit direct to the inlet manifold or will it fuck up the mixtures due to not having throttle potentiometer?
M20B25 direct induction to the inlet >?

yeh im aware of that, but tomorrow im changing from m20b20 to m20b25... new engine has come without 325 throttle body ect... a 320 throttle body will restrict the flow slightly... was just wondering if bolted it direct to the throttle body would allow the engine to run effectively or would it mess up the fueling mixtures due to the potentiometer not being in place...

a) If you remove the air flow meter your engine will run like shit
b) If you fit the incorrect air flow meter, your engine will not perform as well as it should
c) if you fit an induction kit to the M20 without any other mods, your engine will perform worse than with the standard air filter.
Hope that helps.

err.....no....
The engine must have the 325i AFM and the Throttle body in place and connected to run properly.
The "Induction Kit" can only be fitted in place of the air filter.
if your newer engine has the AFM and throttle body missing, then it will not run.
