quite a lot of rust underneath, where can I get the replacement part? don't think that piece cut off from other e30 would be good as they old, is there anything else I can use to weld in? may be tray from other bmw would be good as there are quite few of them on ebay, any experience? thanksrust under the battery

You can buy a new battery tray from the dealers.
