My touring is 1993 318i.
It is fitted with a four spoke steering wheel with an airbag. It looks similar to one fitted to e36.
I want to convert to M-Tech 2. Will removing the stock steering wheel throw any errors and problems? The check panel in the headliner shows Air Bag light whenever I start an engine. Presumably, if I remove the stock wheel, the panel will light constantly showing Air Bag problem. Could you confirm this please?
