convertable roof set up

is there anyone on here that is a soft top guru or knows the exact set up procedure for an electric roof
i have sourced a new roof motor and need to have it all set up and problems diagnosed/sorted. i am in the north herts area and will be more than happy to travel but not 100's of miles to goto the right person.
if you know of or are this person please let me know because your help is gratefully needed

it sort of helps but i need all the rods/linkages setting up and i am not sure if any are bent/not fitted correctly.
just spoke to a good friend who works in a bmw dealership as a salesman, he says there is an old technician there that gets all the old cars to work on especially e30's so he is going to get him to ring me.
if he is what he says i will put his details up for everyone as an old school technician is hard to find
but all advice and knowledge is still greatfully recieved
