hi

recently i changed over my tyres and i used a trolley jack on the jacking points  , i wish i hadnt now because they seemed to have creased/bent over,

does anybody know the best solution to fix the jacking points, also at what cost, cant it be done at home with a weld thingy majiky (my uncles got one lol) :)

advice much appreciated.

regards.

Front or rear jacking point?

The rear ones have reinforcements on them that attach to the rear subframe.

If they are bent over, just get a really big shifting spanner and bend it back, then see what state it is in.

hey thanks for reply jos,

should made it clear, driver side front and rear,

the driver side front and rear and crumpled over/up out of shape,

i was thinking of gettin a pair of pliars (sp?) and shaping them up, but i dont want them ending up in my hand lol, fall of the chasis, wont this weaken the points if i bend them over?

rear are attached to the subframe? so they should be easy to replace i.e. without welding/body work?

just looked at the etk diagram, front jacking points are approx under a tenner just weld them in?

and the rear are attached to the subframe?

im i on the right tracks?

sorry for the long post.
