hi all just replaced the clutch slave and master cyliders, i was driving without a clutch since monday, now iv found that when im driving and depress the clutch the revs jump and as i come off after the gear change the revs drop to where they should be, also when slowing and stopping at a junction when i depress the clutch, again the revs jump and when i keep on the clutch they stay up until i come of to drive off, somtimes its only a little but noticable and other times im at 2500 rpm at a stand still, any ideas?, thanks

Sounds like you've dislodged/damaged the throttle cable somewhere.

i have done a little investigation and when i somtimes press the pedal it comes back up but not completley, i have to pull it up only a tiny bit but then it idles correctly, is this a problem with the pedal or the cable, thanks

Cable by the sound of it - the pedal mechanism is very simple - the cable can stick causing the problem you describe.
It might just be the case that the cable isnt following an "easy" route - if its trapped or poorly routed it will stick.
Try removing the cable, hang it from one end, drip some oil down it and pull the inner cable backwards and forwards a few time to pull the oil through, then hang it from the other end and repeat the process.
If the inner sheathing isnt damaged it will cure the problem.
If it is damaged you need a new cable but they arent massively expensive.
Good luck
