Hey folks, as listen unfortunately been long time coming but engine is full of that horrible gunk you never want to see.

Im in urgent hurry to get engine changed.... need it back on the road in 3 days due to going to devon for a week with the misses.

Engine is a M20B20 want to fit an M20B25 the 2.5 litre... i want to run it on the 320 gearbox/clutch/flywheel... isit just a straight swap or do parts need to be changed ie starter.. ecu... does the 2litre box fit the 2.5 or isit case just swapping them over.

Really could do with ur help guys would be much appreciated

The gearbox will work ok, as with most other things, but you will need a 325i ECU. Do you have a new engine yet? And if you have, what ancillarys do you have with it?

Air meter, throttle body and inlet manifold and ECU have to be changed. All other ancillaries are the same or will do, including the engine loom.
As with all engine swaps, see my 'wiring warning' sticky thread in the 'engine swaps' forum.
