modded n/a m20's - what injector size?

guys my modded 2.7 seems to be running on the leanish side looking at plugs - gonna have a pipe up the exhaust hopefully at weekend to confirm - is there a big difference between m20 and m30 injectors - or does it generally just lead to overfuelling/bore wash etc?

Could it be that the inlet gaskets are leaking?

M20 units are 149.2cc/min

M30 are 203cc/min

you can swop to the bigger ones but you'll have to use a 2.5Bar fuel pressure regulator M8

Agreed an air leak would cause leaning out, but without knowing the full story there could be other issues like a failed fuel reg, duff AFM or a failng fuel pump.

new plugs on a fresh engine will tend to come out "dry" and white, if you're not having isssues with pinking I'd suggest a longer term evaluation, oh and make sure and use the early 325 plugs, NGK only of course

- it's not running really lean - and it runs fine not pinking and pulls well under load in top below 2k - new ngk plugs were a bit whitish - think i'll give it a good spank tonight and have another look

yeah - running early motronic 3.3 with one of ants chips which works well - definitely will be looking at megasquirt in the next couple of months as it's gonna get blown - which also is why i am thinking of more juice now

2 rolling road sessions now booked - zone one in portsmouth next month and pistonheads one on saturday @surreyrolling road

pending saturday i'll have a rethink re fuelling - i see that m30 injectors + uprated fpr produce potentially alot more juice which probably is not worth it on my engine - i'll see how it goes on saturday

oh, this says the M30 injectors flow 220cc's ?

I ask because thats what i put in to my Emerald when i swapped the injectors over ?
