gas shock refilling?

i've got a little used h&r suspension kit but one of the rear shocks has lost it's gas,is it possible to have it rebuilt with new seals and a re-gas or should i just buy a new unit?.

Bilstein offer this sort of service for their dampers but IIRC by the time you've paid for the postage & the rebuild service you may as well just have bought a new one.
