I have a Getrag 265/5? Dogleg 5 speed manual on an M30 engine. The gearbox has been noisey all the while I have dragged it so now I have it out on the bench and trying to rebuild. I have got it almost all the way apart but I cant get the last bit of housing separated and we have tried quite literally EVERYTHING! Has anyone done a strip down of one of these (as I dare not ask how much a replacement will be!) or does anyone have a standard 5 speed manual for an M30 engine?!
Any info is appreciated on these very mysterious boxes!
