Same S/rack?

I went to the breakers today and theyve got a 316i(F) with an almost new power rack fitted,still nice clean Black paint,no play/leaks etc,basically what i need and if i go and take it off i can have it for Ԛ£15

What i need to know is,is it the same part no as my IS?
Id imagine it is,but want to be sure before i go get it.

even if it isn't exactly the same (which i think it is) its worth fitting just to get you through the MOT.

At Ԛ£15 you could almost put it on ebay if it doesn't fit and make some money!

thanks Gwynleym10 for the reply,but i need be sure that its right cause its booked in for a retest tomorow at 5pm,and dont really want to cancel it just because i got the wrong rack

so come on guys,GSF list 2 power racks for E30,upto 88,and 88 on!
Whats the difference between them and is one from an F reg 316i likely to be later one or early.

ive got to be there at 9 in the morning so any help would be appreciated

F is late e30 i think, 88?

if its a PAS one it will fit dude im pretty sure of that

it is a later one i think,deffo M40 engined,so should be the same.
If i dont get a definate answer here tonight,then ill take the chance on it being the right one.
just dont want to get it home and find out that the pipes are different or some thing like that.
