Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a dealer-fit alarm, please? I've got a problem with my alarm and I need to sort it ASAP. I don't want to be ripping the wrong wires out and end-up immobilising the car.
TIA
Stuart.

Factory immobiliser interfaces with the car's wiring at a two pin socket which has two plain green wires running to it above the glove box area.
To disconnect the immobiliser, remove the plug from this socket and replace it with a similar plug, fitted with a short loop of green wire, which should be tied up to the loom nearby.

Thanks Brian, but I'd like to know which colour wires go where, if possible. Specifically;- does the unit have an earth wire (I assume that would be plain brown) or is the earth through one or more of the mounting points, and which wires go to the indicator circuits.

Blue/red and blue/black are the indicator connections, and they should connect to single pole plugs and sockets spliced onto the plug for the dashboard loom, next to the accessories socket.
The earth wire should be brown and go to the main earth point behind the glove box.
There's usually a wire that goes through the bulkhead grommet to a microswitch clipped to the rear left bonnet bracket, and brown/x wires that connect to the door and boot pin switches.
