I've got a new fuel tank to go on my track car but I was wondering if it's worth spending money to get it powder coated? Whilst the great British weather is unavoidable, the car will be spending little time in the rain and most of its life in a dry garage. The underside is black and the top is silver so not sure if it was undersealed but it doesn't feel like it.
Any way, what should I do?
Fuel tank worth coating?

Id have it done, new and undersealed? Is it new or second hand as if its had fuel in you will need to get any hint of vapour out, most places wont touch a tank if it smells even slightly of petrol
