Hi Folks,

have just pulled the wiper motor out of my E30 Cabby as it was very temperamental. After cleaning all the crap off I discovered that the motor disc has two large groves on it from the electrical contacts....please see pic.

Is this now fooked or can it be refurbished?...if it is fooked does anyone have a good replacement part?

any help would be appreciated

cheers

The first thing I would do is try rubbing the corrosion off with wet and dry then reapply a thing layer of grease, clean the contacts as well and see if it works.

I'd be on the look out for another as well because once they go bad they never seem to work very well again.
