Are they all the same no matter the motronic?

I am contemplating getting a Ԛ´86 320i head to go along with my 27 conversion.

engine is a eta engine with hopefully a td crank and eta rods.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

I doubt the 86 head will be a 731. Most probably the 200 casting also used on the 525e and 323i.

The 731 was used on the 320i post facelift.

Cheers,

ALL e30 320i and 323i models had a 731 casting, from 82 right through to the end and they are all interchangeable.
