The electric windows are powered by two fuses; one for door open, one for ignition on. They switch power via a relay that's triggered via the door pin switch. The switch is obviously working, but maybe the relay or the fuse for the interior circuit isn't.
For the mirrors, you may have disturbed the socket for the controls, or you might have corrosion of the power pins in the door loom plug (C405).
More info can be found in the Wiki by looking at the Electrical article:

and comparing it with the Wiring Diagrams:

hi grrrmachine
thanks for the links
gonna fit the fan and resistor in a wee while and see if that works if not the next thing to check as i can work out is the green/black wire going to the starter

Check fuse 17 (30A), and if that's OK, pull out relay K5, identify pins 30 and 87 (marked on the case), and use a short piece of wire to link together these two pins of the relay's socket. If that brings the windows to life, do the same thing with K7, and see if that sorts the door mirrors (and the heater fan?)
If linking out these two relays sorts the problems, turn your attention to the black/green wire going to the starter motor.

my blower motor spins freely by hand without any sticking
do you have any idea what would cause my resistor to mega burn out as in frazzle it

Yes, 30 and 87. Relays are identical.
Air con blower motor is different, as you've found out! Pre facelift heaters used a very similar motor. (May be identical).
