Well i woke up this morning to discover my standard bbs wheel center caps had been stolen, i guess the guy who stole them had strong hands or something and knew they where worth a fair amount.

Anyhow, before i go ahead and dish out another 50 - 100 quid for a set, is there anything i could do to stop this from happening in the future as it dosent seem to difficult to remove them.

I've put a half inch circular rubber strip cut from an old mountain bike inner tube around the 3 bayonet fittings.

Not totally secure, just makes a tighter fit and a bit more difficult to remove by hand.

sorry to hear that.
sometimes owners drill a small hole through the cap and into the wheel and fit a torx/hexagon screw
