My car E30 325i a 1984 shell, I beleive working fairly OK giving good mileage. Occasionally I smell petrol while seated in the drivers seat but when try harder to smell from where it is coming from there is no trace of any petrol.
This is like some hide and seek game, now I smell then now I dont.
What is obvious is that, I always smell the fuel for a short spell when I put down the windows, then no more smell.
I am thinking to change the fuel line from the fuel tank to all the way to the front or is there some thing I could do to solve this problem faster?
