Hi all
this may be a easy one but which way do you undo the bottom pully bolt on a 320 i m20 engine

Anticlockwise, but it'll be FT so a brace on the pulley or something to stop it turning round (or a dirty great big impact gun) will be needed!

Yep, the way we do it at work is with a bar/length of metal with a circle and three bolt holes in the end. This gets bolted onto the pulley, then braced on the subframe or under a 2 post ramp depending whether the lumps in/out of the car. Then undo with a big old breaker bar! Keep trying they do come undone, but they are done up to 300+ ft/lb!
