I have recently rebuilt the top end of m20b25, but after reassembly I have noticed an air leak that sounds like it's coming from under the inlet manifold on the side closest to the cab. The car also seems to be idling very rough and I am guessing that it is because of this.
I have taken the inlet manifold off again (ball ache), but can not find the problem, does anyone have any suggestions?

Any joint between the AFM and the cylinder head must be suspect!
You did fit new O rings to the crankcase breather?
Cannot think of another item underneath the manifold.
These things are usually a hidden split in a rubber hose,or the splined joint into the T/B for the servo feed.
