Hi all,

I hope you had a nice one. Me has been hours all over my car playing and found that, when I have the indicators on, all the rest of the lights seem to fleak a little bit at the ruthmyn of the indicators. Its like they are indicating too its hard to explain - its not like the car goes like a christmas tree its more like they follow the intermitent on and off sequence....

How do I sort this bloody thing which is really p***ing me off ?? Anyone has or has had the same problem ?

-Apparently the police can make you have the M.O.T test taken if they notice that (??????????)

Cheers
Jose

there normally are only a few earth points on a vehicle, they group them together (sometimes)(depending on the make). Clean the contacts on the terminals and the body or bolt where it goes onto, clean it with sandpaper.

Thanks again koos - you may have noted that I posted a few, I spent a few hours this w-end to sort out lose ends...-
I did note that there is a cable in the boot, just down on the floor between the rear lights and under the carpet, that has been cut by some knob, I wonder now if this has something to do with it, I couldn't say what colour is it but its def a fixed cable; earth cables I believe are fixed to the body work/chassis

my car also lights up like a christmas tree if the back lights Backing is too tight?!?!?, If i unscreww the unit and then slow screw it back on, making sure it is making good contact, the problem sorts itself out. Try this with both back lights.
hope this helps a little.
