Hi Folks i do appoligise if this has been asked already !

i have a bmw 325ise
the central locking one day stoped working completley and now all i hear is a buzzing noise from the driver side footwell on the odd occasion.
i have tried changing the black box in the foot well but still have no luck with the central locking working

can anyone asist ?

Have you done the black/red wire mod?

black n red wire mod, but also try a different black control unit box, they do differ slightly i think, i had this aggro last year and got a new box didnt work, tried another it did

but you can check it via a wire in the actual plug that plugs in to it, to see if its the box or not, brianmooore will be able to tell you what terminals you connect with a piece of wire, to lock/unlock

That buzzing you hear.... if you let it continue it WILL fry all locking motors. Trust me on that one!
When you change the module make sure you fit it in the well correctly otherwise you will be back to square one, again, trust me!
And on the eighth day God created........The E30!
