Hi guys this is my first thread so bare with me if youve heard it all before or i go on too much

Right here goes lol

Ive got K reg convertable 318i and i love it, but i wana get all the suspension and drive all set up right for how i like it. i dont want it to be so low that i scrape everything and i want it to sit as level as possible.

Im looking at gettin shocks and springs that are 60mm at the front and 40mm at the back, there £150 delivered from germany from mandys trendy shop. anybody had any?

I was gona fit an e36 steering rack with the mods so it turns quicker but how will this effect drifting because im only a begginer aswel or should i stck with the original one?

Im gona change the wishbones aswel but ive heard about an eccentric set up but i dont really understand it, is it just the bushes that are eccentric and is it worth doing?

Im changing all the ARB links and bushes aswel just so at the front all the rubbers on the car are new and it drives nice and tight and straight.

My aim is to have as nice smooth drive as i can but for it to be a bit stiffer so im more confident in the corners, thats why i want it all new for peace of mind.

My wheels are 15" bbs and the tyres are 195/50/15

Sorry to go on but ive got a lot of questions and you guys seem to be the best to ask. Any info or tips would be appreciated, thanks

- 60 drop will probably mean the sump is very low. I had what was either a -60 or -80 setup on my 325 cab when I got it and the front was really low which to be honest made it unusable. Chanegd to a -40 set of springs which are fitted to shorter blisten dampers and it rides much better now plus is low enough to have the wheels fill the arches but plenty ground clearence.

The eccentric setup is, from what I know the bushes that go in the lollipops that connect to the front wishbones, everyone recommends upgrading these to the OEM M3 ones which are pretty cheap form BMW.

Changing the ARB bushes and links should be a good idea and not terribly difficult.
