My central locking was working fine on Saturday, but when I went to unlock it from the remote last night it would only disarm the alarm but not unlock the car.
I then unlocked the drivers door with the key, but that didn't operate the c/locking as it usually does. The boot unlocked with the key but failed to operate the c/locking as well.
The passenger door was firmly locked no matter what, so I assume that was deadlocked.
Now the strange bit, when I armed the alarm again, everything locked, so i undid everything and tried to lock with the key, it all locked as it should. (apart from the passenger door).
I have taken out the relay from the footwell and opened it up and discovered that everything unlocks by pressing the contact inside, and locks again by pressing the other contact. There appears to be no corrosion or signs of water in the relay and the thermal thingy is intact.
next I disconnected the multi plug at the A' pillar, all seems reasonably ok in there as well, (on the plus side my mirrors have started working again).
Lastly the red/black wire trick was done a couple of years ago.
Sorry this is sooo long but I've tried to give as much info as possible. Any help appreciated as I planned on a trip this weekend!
Thanks, Jacko.

Forgot to mention that even the passenger door operates when i touch the relays manually, it was previously deadlocked,
