please can anyone help!! drive train issue...

hello,
my touring has started making a knocking noise and it is coming from the rear of the car.
basically what happes is everytime i come off the throttle, or unload the drive train, i can hear a knocking noise. it is speed related. the noise goes when braking or accelerating but when at constant speed or coasting with my foot on the clutch i can hear it...
i think it could be either the prop doughnut, center bearing or a cv on the drive shaft...

i just wanted to know if anyone has had something similar and what it was.

i think it is the propshaft that is the cause of this noise...

can anyone tell me if a 318i prop will fit a 318is please??

no a 318i prop will not fit a 318is.

i have x3 props here from a 318is.

find a hole in the ground and park your car above it ...

then go under the bimmer and check all the rubber mounts as they go fast on bimmers
