I think you'll find the general concensus to be that 3.64 is the one to go for. I know there's at least one 'Zoner who has used a 3.25!
One point to bear in mind - if you do a lot of short journeys, it will hardly be worth the bother. You will only see sensible gains on longer trips.
Oh! ....And don't forget that a 325i needs a large case diff.
