The plastic body snapped like a carrot :(
Cant quite see whats what as its under a 24v inlet etc, there is nothing connecting the two parts together, if I hold the broken part against the solenoid is it likely to work the starter? Auto gearbox so no bump start

As long as the elecrtical conduter is still intact inside the broken lug and there is still another part of the conductor is showing i cant see why it wouldnt work,
But i`d expect a few sparks and possible shock 8O

Did something simmilar myself and where the plastic bit had broke off it left a little metal dome thing showing where i could make a connection.
Worth a go a mate :)
