been on e30 wiki page but cannot read the desciptions under the pictures? so.... how thick doe's the spacer need to be?? i have welded the brackets off of a e46 onto subframe instead of using spacers as think it looks more factory :D just need to get the pipes from dan the man, sort out this spacer thing then bam jobs done! well 1of many jobs!! had all parts, diff, trailing arms an subframes blasted they look beutifull!! :D winkeye

What brackets have you welded on? My E46 clubsport rack bolts perfectly into the E30 subframe without the need for any welding 8O just the spacers... sorry can't remember the thickness

iirc 14mm spacer between the rack and the top and bottom bracket for the rack - but if you have cut those off and welded other brackets on then - what are you asking about!!!!

Don't quite get the point of this either tbh :?

But if you hadn't molested the e30 subframe or brackets you would need 14mm spacers as said above,
but if you've welded e46 brackets to your subframe then I'd say no spacer would be needed!
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D
