Iv'e got a 320 project car with a flat battery. When the cells are drained to the point it won't start the car. Will a small charger(Overnight job) and then use recharge the battery?. Or is a steady slope to its decline again?.

Anybody got one of these new battery's that can stay idle for up to a year without losing charge. Designed for classic cars that are garaged.

Cheers Gareth.

Hmmmmmmm.

If you are storing a car, can't you use a trickle charger or something similar?

These batteries sound good though, how much do they cost?

I didn't start my Cav Diesel for two and a half weeks, and it started first time today!

Silly question, but whats wrong with just disconnecting the terminals if its gonna b standing awhile?

I had a flat battery in an old car of mine tho, got it jumped and started using it again but it wasnt the same since. Got a new one in the end :?

I think its probably going to do die on me.

Normally these things are never the same, once drained. Thats my experiance anyway. But I must bow to any superior knowledge!?.

I saw this new battery in, I think it was Practical classics. I think they are a ton!. And thay are orange!.

Magazine was at work, will look tomorrow. And find out the name of the manufacturer.

Cheers Gareth.

HHmmmmmmmmm.

Do you mean they weigh a ton, or cost a ton?!

I'm guessing you mean they weigh a ton, which would make sense.

Ive seen those too, but they better have a long lead if ur garaging the car and i cant see them being much good either in British winter time :teehee:
