Hi, can anyone give me some information on converting a pair of unheated leather seats in my 88 cab' to heated ones.
Can I buy the elements to go in the bases of the seats & how easy is it to wire them in???
Any help much appreciated.
Matt ( 325 ragtop ).

I'm quite sure it can be retrofitted to sport seats, have you seen http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1

they are easy to wire in, the hard part is removing trim from seats to fit the elements

I think I will be doing this soon, as I am buying a non-heated interior. Looking at etk, this should not be too hard. I have re-trimmed Capri seats before though, so I have some experience. I you can wait a week or so, I can then post up advice when I'm done.

This company sells heated seat kits, includes switches elements and loom, for about Ԛ£40.Simon13 wrote:the elements are Ԛ£300 unless u can find some in a scrappy or on another car!

Kit ref MSH-50, though you can't see it on the website, they still supply it.
I would purchase the kit for the elements, and use an original loom (Ԛ£30) and a pair of original switches (Ԛ£21 each) and wire them to the elements.
