my 1991 325i has developed a problem where it will start fine from cold run for around 15 minutes and then cut out you can crank the car over but it will not fire up, if you leave it for 20 minutes it will then start again run for a similar amount of time and cut out again ,

so far I have changed the fuel pump relay for a known good spare, shorted pin 87 and 30 of the fuel relay out and the pump sounds like its working ok, I’ve only recently purchased the car and the previous owner told me it had just had a new crank sensor so I have checked the resistance of that and its 550 ohm, which im lead to believe is correct .
I have checked to see if there is power at the coil and I believe there to be spark, I have now come a bit unstuck and any advice would be appreciated
