For a year now my 3181T has had a 3.81 (US Spec. 325e) code plug. I just replaced it with the correct 4.02 plug from the dealers.
Was I right to disconnect the loom from the obc to get the new codeplug recognised and how long should I leave it disconnected?

Thanks,

I changed my code plug and didn't disconnect anything. Press the 100 & 1 buttons at the same time and the obc display will tell you what plug you have. It should recognise it instantly

Thanks datourer

The old codeplug 3.8 was still being displayed after changing codeplugs. I disconnected the obc for 2 hours and after reconnecting it now shows the correct codeplug 4.2.

Job done :D
