The service indicator lights are reset by connecting pin 7 to pin 19(ground). The proper way to do this is to have the ignition off and place a jumper wire between pins 7 and 19 (make sure you get the right pins!). Then turn the ignition switch to position 1 (accessory), when the service light goes out, turn the ignition off. The difference between resetting the oil service light and the inspection light is in the length of time you have the jumper in place with the ignition on. This means that if you are resetting the oil service light, you should turn off the ignition immediately after the light goes out. If you leave the jumper in too long with the ignition on, you will perform an inspection reset as well and the next service indicator will come up as an oil service rather than an inspection.
got that from another post..but it is pins 19 and 7

I did this at the weekend after an oil service & it reset ok. This morning i switched the ignition on, & i now have all the green lights AND the Inspection AND Brake Fluid Clock showing! Have I messed something up?

The clock is just a simple twelve month timer that comes on with the inspection light, and has to be reset separately from the service lights.
Probably (hopefully?) it's just coincidence that its come on.

From another website I found a diagram indicating the 20 pins, the ones with terminals in the holes starting from the windscreen are :-
(outside circle)
Pin 1
Pin 12
Pin 7
Inner circle
Pin 20
Pin 19
Pin 14
Pin 18
Pin 15
Pin 17
Pin 16
I have shorted pins 19 & 7 but nothing has happened! What am I doing wrong?
connect the pins, turn the key to position 1 , wait for the oil light to go out, turn key off again, remove jumper, job done. If doing the inspection reset its the same but i think you leave the key in position 1 for 8 seconds (from memory) as i did it to mine (then realised the battery was knackered so all came on next time is jump started it) lol.
