I have a euro spec 1986 320i convertible. I just replaced the timing belt. The crank and the cam are lined up perfectly at TDC, but when replacing the belt I turned the intermediate shaft the smallest bit. I think that the distributor timing is off. When I start the car it immediately revs up in the 3500 range. Is there anyway I can get the timing correct without a timing light for now? (So I can drive it to the auto shop where I can use their timing light)
