e30 327i cab help required!!

Driverside window goes up but when theres about an inch left it starts to bounce???
can any1 advise? 8O

    I don't know what the problem is mate, but you will find out a lot more if you take the panel off so you can see what the mechanism is upto fella.

    Sounds like one of the early rack type mechanisms. If it is, I think you've found why the mechanism was changed to a completely different type.
