Lads and lasses,

Recently got a cheap complete F plate 325i as it has Mtech 2 kit, Sport leather and new tyres all round. Had a look at the bodywork and both sills and a rear arch would need doing.

Have just been offered a cheap G plate 320 with good bodywork, can the rear brakes, engine etc be swapped from the 325? If so what about the engine wiring, ecu etc......

Thanks for any advice :thumb:

The 6 cylinder engine swap is a "plug & play" effort, but you will need the correct ECU for the engine. If you're swapping the rear suspension, leave the diff attached to the subframe, as the 320i diff will be too low for the 325i, unless you want a thirsty road-rocket.

This is why I no longer drive an E30......

Front struts are different as well, so change over the whole front crossmember. (Lift the body off)
