Hi all

Any ideas to remove the external e30 trim without damage.

In particular, the shadowline strips that run along the door adjacent to the window rubber and also the satin black
B-pillar trim on the rear door of a 4-door/touring.

TIA

very, very carefully.
prise the door/window strip very carefully at the rear end and gently ease it up and off the clips that hopefully will stay attached to the door (or come up with the strip, doesn't really matter). i would advise removing the door mirror first though.

not sure what "B" pillar trim you mean on a 4-door :?
do you mean "C" pillar? if so, just "pop off" the plastic trim complete, then gently prise off the black metal strip which is held in place by a few little plastic clips.

cheers Adit

the B-pillar trim is the vertical black rear door cover adjacent to the drivers door, Got damaged when a thief pushed a tool to try to unlock the car.
