I'm just wondering if any of you can help me
Ive bought a 316i and i have a really bad idle problem. the guy i bought it off had told me the water pump had gone being 18 i thought it would be a cheap fix until i striped the block and found that the piston rings on cylinder 4 were shot !
I managed to locate a low mileage engine of a friend of my old man for 60 pound it runs sweet drives sweet just idles terrible a lil tap of gas it try's to bog down.
Ive changed the AFM and it seems a lil better but it still isn't very clever i was hoping one of you might be able to point me in the direction of the serial number on the AFM .
i have one with 201 at the end and one with 204 ! i believe one to be cat and the other non cat.
