My newly acquired 318iS has a slightly leaky boot. I discovered it when I stripped the boot out to give it a good clean. A little puddle of water is gathering in the pocket on the passenger side, it looks like the water MAY be coming in from the gap between the rear panel and the inner rear arch? If that makes any sense! Theres also a few drops on the drivers side in the same place.
I'm going to whip the rear wheels and plastic inner arches off to have a look around but I was wondering if anyone has came across thsi problem before and could tell me exactly what I should be looking for, where and how to fix it .
Thanks guys

probably getting water in through the boot seal, around the rear light clusters or possibly around the ariel post. There should be a rubber pipe in each of the little wells at either side in the boot, look under the car and poke a screw driver up the tubes to clear any blockages. OK this doesn't stop water gathering there in the first place, but it should help to get rid of it
