Ive just bought a 1991 325i Touring, with M3 brakes and callipers all round. But because its running the standard master cyln... its not generating enough pressure so brakes are shit. So can anyone tell me what the most effective master is that also fits in that space without any modifications.

I was think something off a 5 series but you boys are the experts!

Well naturally a stock M3 cylinder would be the choice, which is larger than a stock E30. that should leave you will a long travel/soft pedal not sh1t brakes. If your symptoms don't fit this then you may have a problem with something else.

Can anyone suggest how to test if the boot lights are staying on with the boot shut?
