318 droning noise

can anyone help? i have a 91 318i. it makes a droning noise at 30mph and above. im thinking diff or propshaft. this only came to my attention after removing and reffiting the prop shaft, which had to be done to access the fuel tank, which needed replaced. thanks, kenny.

i think that would be the first thing to look at,if it didnt make the noise before the repairs its pretty certain to be something youve done
