Does a 325i manifold fit a 320i, i wanna do the tb conversion to my 320i and was wondering if it would save me time in re-shaping my 320 one.

I shall be putting one onto a 320 head to go onto the 2.7 short engine I aquired last week. The manifold physically fits on the studs, but I imagine I shall have to blend the 320 head ports out a little.
Just guessing about the last bit, as I haven't stripped a 320 head off one of the engines I have here yet.

im 99% sure you lose powere by using the 325manifold as the ports are different hth D

I'm fairly certain that using the 325i manifold will loose power due to decreased gas velocity in the manifold runners (because the 320i doesn't "suck" so much), even if you do match the ports.
In Brian's case - using a 320i head on an ETA block - the 325i manifold would be the one to use if you're going for max power, rather than mid-range gains.
Therefore, on a 320i, use the 320i manifold.
Usual rules apply here - if I'm wrong, someone (Brian?? Ant??) please put me right and I'll be humble about it.
Stuart.

325 inlet manifold will give better power as will the tb if u match the ports even more bhp and from late 88 the exhaust manifold was the same on the 2.0 and the 2.5 ok m8.
