i also have a 316i e36 that is going over the way bridge by the looks of it soon i was wondering can i swap the hubs etc over from the e36 to the e30 giving me 5 stud with out to many problems?

i have not had chance to have a look my self as my latest e30 is on my the back of my truck my other e30 has been stolen by the girl friend never to be seen again and its always raining when i have a bit of free time so thought i would quickly ask on here :D

It's not straight forward. The 316i parts won't fit.

As far as I know you need the rear trailing arms of an E36 compact and the front struts and control arms of an E36 M3 evo to get the alignment correct.

316i front struts can work, but you need eccentric lollipop bushes and E36 M3 evo control arms.
