I'm after a set of 51mm struts to send to AST to get dampers built for a 320 in the PBMW championship. I believe the 51mm units came on the 318iS, 325's and cab's (?)

However, someone has told me that he believes not all the 51mm units are the same - effectively that there are two types, and that one has more offset that will result in more neg camber. He seemed to think it was the 325 struts that were 'better'. He didn't think the difference was big, and that you wouldn't notice it with the eye - only by measuring.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

TIA
