A good clutch.

Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

Since I'm having the engine out soon I was thinking of replacing the rather tired clutch that's in my car. I want something as cheap as possible with a lot of bite. Do any Zoners know of a cheap, grippy clutch out there?

Mine had a new clutch fitted a few year back, just a standard item. since ive replaced master and slave cylinder with bmw items and new fluid and its the nicest e30 clutch ive felt, nice and light :D

if you renew everything with standard items i'am sure it will feel 100% better

hmmm

wouldn't it be better to think of the clutch as a vital component that delivers all the engines hard work to the gearbox.
Just do the above and you'll gripe a bit at the cost but use a cheap clutch/components and you will regret it.

You probably won't find a clutch much cheaper than ECP, or GSF sell them for.
Might be worth putting a post in the parts wanted section. Perhaps someones got one lying around.
As Tash says, the clutch is quite an important component, and the quality is not worth skimping on.
