Hey mate,
Easy job, undo the top nuts and bottom nuts, you may need a deep socket for this, raise the engine on the side that you are replacing the mount, be sure to place something like a block of wood between the surface of the jack and the engine, as it could cause damage other wise. It should lift up, if not, wiggle while lifting, check whether bolts are undone and you haven't forgotten any. Once it is up, remove the old mount, insert the new, do up the nuts and start on the other side! The mounts have a small rubber locating dowel which means they only fit one way!
Good luck!

As above but could I add that I'm as technically gifted as Ms K Price but still managed to do both mounts...

Okay guys, I've got the old one out on the passenger side, got the new one in and the broken alloy arm is off, just read an article which says the 2 bolts and washers on either side of the mount should not be re used so I walked to the motor spares shop and guess what, he doesnt have them in stock, so now I have the engine poking out the top of the car and I cant put it back in!

It's only a standard bolt isn't it?
Like this one?

As long as the threads are still ok I couldn't see it would be a problem. You can always put it back with the old bolts. Then swap the old bolts for new ones if you felt it was necessary later on.

Yeah, all done now, old washers back under the nuts that hold the alloy arms to the engine and old bolts and washers back on the rubber mounts, I've got some on order so I will probably change at some point. I've heard people talking about the vibration working the nuts loose so maybe some thread lock maybe necessary. Thanks for the help.
